Columns Table represents the moment when an established idea is allowed to leave its original place and discover another purpose.
The elements first imagined as part of a vertical system move beneath a curved surface and become its supports. They retain the same identity, but the relationship between them changes. What once created height and structure now establishes a place around which people can gather.
The open curve of the table reinforces this sense of movement. Rather than creating a closed composition around a single centre, it leaves space for different positions, encounters and ways of being together.
For us, the table makes the meaning of Columns visible. An identity does not have to remain attached to one object or function. It can travel, adapt and enter a new context without becoming unrecognisable.
The freedom to find another place without becoming someone else.
