We are all made of fragments.
Experiences, memories and parts of who we once were remain within us, even as we continue to change. For a long time, we believed that moving forward meant leaving certain things behind. Now, we are beginning to understand that transformation can also come from looking again at what remains.
Fragments gives physical form to this idea. Different pieces of discarded marble come together without losing the colors, veins and histories that make each one distinct. Their differences are not corrected or concealed. They become the identity of the table.
The fragments are assembled without adhesives, held together through balance and a new relationship between their parts. Nothing needs to disappear for the piece to feel complete.
This reflects something essential within Feel the Shift. We are moving away from the idea that beauty must begin with perfection, continuity or a blank surface. Sometimes, what appears separate or unfinished already contains everything needed to become something new.
Fragments carries the memory of traditional marble tables while allowing that memory to take another form. The past remains visible, but it no longer determines what the object must become.
What remains can become the beginning.
