Pink Grain continues an exploration that began with Countergrain: our fascination with taking one of nature's most recognisable surfaces and allowing it to become something else.
The grain still carries the memory of wood, but colour and softness reveal a gentler, more playful personality. What once felt solid can now fold, drape and move with the object it dresses.
There is something surprising in this small contradiction. The pattern feels familiar, yet appears where we would never expect to find it. Wood has not lost its identity. It has simply discovered that it can express itself in pink.
